Kentavr is designed for observing terrestrial objects on lighting with Moon and cloudless starry skylight. The device can be also used in absolute darkness by switching built-in IR-emitter on. The viewing is performed for object distance ranging from 25 centimeters to infinity (day-time operation), from 3 m to infinity (night time operation) and with a distance of clear distinguish ability of an object ranging from 8 to 10 meters in complete darkness to 100 meters at illumination intensity of 0.25 of moonlight. The power supply for Kentavr day and night vision viewing device is provided by two standard size AAA batteries. Safety strap and protective case included.
