Greetings, I thought I would let you folks know how pleased I am with my recent purchase from you of a pair of Meade 9X63 roof prism binoculars. My, how roof prism technology has come quite a ways since I last tried them at astronomical observing. Tonight 6/12/04 was the first night I got clear skies with good seeing and decent magnitude. I had a pair of 20X80 porro prism binocs mounted on a tripod and used the Meades hand held. The Meades blew my socks off as I cruised through Sagittarius and Scorpius. Starclouds, Messiers, nebulae the works all outstanding with a wide field of view. On to Cygnus, Lyra, Hercules, Cassiopea, and Andromeda until it clouded up around 2:45 a.m. All outstanding views, even the two planetary Nebula I looked at, M57 & M27 were visible. Since these glasses have exceeded my expectations, and your customer service is outstanding, I am planning on ordering a pair of Pentax 20X60 PCF WP binoculars from you in the near future. Thank you for the outstanding service and the excellent binoculars. I would recommend these glasses to anyone looking for a cost effective wide field pair of binoculars.
