- High-quality Swarotop and Swarodur multi-layer coating for excellent light transmission and bright images with high light gathering.
- Large field of view through a 6-lens wide-angle eyepiece (except 7x42)
- Porro-prism system for contrast-rich, three-dimensional images with a small, manageable construction
- Central focusing wheel for rapid focusing.
- Excellent close observation work achieved by a setting adjustment of only 3 m (10 ft.) to infinity.
- One of the few waterproof porro-prism binoculars the Swarovski Habicht models are airtight, dustproof and watertight (4 m / 13 ft.)
- Nitrogen filling prevents fogging.
- Extremely light, but very robust light-alloy housing
